I graduated from Columbia Union College with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and a Psychology Minor. I began teaching at Sligo Adventist School (where I attended Grades 7 & 8). I have taught just about every combination of grades three through five.
I am excited to be the Langauge Arts / Reading teacher to our middle school students and home room 8th grade teacher. I love teaching my students. We establish a family in my classroom at the beginning of the year. We work hard and play hard. We do a lot of reading, writing (especially poetry) and publishing.
My personal hobbies include collecting dolls from around the world, collecting smiley face memorabilia, photography, and reading. I also participate in a mentoring program for at risk children in Prince George’s County.
