Hello, I first want to introduce myself as a proud mother of four who all attend Sligo, and a loving wife to Pastor Melvyn Hayden who is the Youth Pastor and Bible teacher at Takoma Academy.  I have a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology, CACREP accredited and an experienced therapist with individual counseling as well as group therapy.  This is my third year teaching at Sligo. 

My passion is seeing my students excel in their academic ability, spiritual growth with Jesus and social development with each other.  I look forward to getting to know each of you better throughout the school year.
