Fourth Grade Home Page

Hello, I am so glad that you have taken the time to look at my bio. Let me tell you a little about myself.

I graduated from Columbia Union College with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I began my teaching profession in Baltimore, where I taught in a multi-grade classroom setting. I have been a teacher at Sligo Adventist School for eleven years now. I have had the privilege to teach all grades from Kindergarten through 4th grade, except 1st. I also taught a combination class of 1st & 2nd for three years.

I love working with my students. I work to create a relationship with each of my students that I hope will last a lifetime. I believe that God has placed each child in my care and I take that responsibility very seriously.

I enjoy spending time with my husband and my son. We enjoy a wide range of activities such as going on camping trips, canoeing, and bike riding. I also enjoy reading, and spending time with my exteneded family and friends. On of my greatest joys comes from spending time with my dog and two cats.
